Karl Steinberg wins MIPA Lifetime Achievement Award 2009 Steinberg founder honored in yearly award presented at Musikmesse 2009 Hamburg/Frankfurt, April 7 2009 – Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH is proud to announce that Karl ‘Charlie’ Steinberg, one of the two founders of the company and chief architect of many of its groundbreaking technologies and products such as VST, ASIO and Cubase, has been honored in the annual Music Industry Press Awards Ceremony with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. “We extend our warmest congratulations to Charlie,” comments Andreas Stelling, Steinberg’s General Manager. “Steinberg, the audio industry in general and the musical community at large owe him a great deal.
