Saturday 18 September 2004 : The 2004 Yamaha International Music Production Contest !
 

Information

An interesting opportunity for a ambitious music producer may be the entrance to the International Music Production Contest of 2004 organized by Yamaha and hosted by the website YamJams.com (powered by BroadJam.com) However, a participant must fulfill certain conditions which should be studied carefully before signing-up. Some of them have to do with the use of any of the following 3 groups of Yamaha stuff : 01X (or other mLAN product), Motif (ES, Rack or original) and any of the AW series of hard disk recorders. The contest has 3 product categories : one for each group of Yamaha stuff required (mentioned above). The possible genres for each contest category are the following 5 : Rock, Hip hop or R&B, Jazz or Latin, Dance or Electronic, Film Scoring or Orchestral or World. There will in all 45 winners (3 for each category) and prices of over $50.000 won ! Contest opens on the 1st of September 2004 and deadline for entries is the 1st of January 2005 !
