Only just yesterday I could see the running sea and the dried coast by the waves getting wet. Today all are calm- and now is the coast dried and spread out thirsty for once more. "The coast" - Nikos Kampas (1857-1932)
OVERALL PRESENTATION IN BRIEF
This time a guitar is giving the appropriate background for a singing human voice (being substituted by an alto sax for reasons of simplicity). The form is iterative and gives any possibility for application of verses or a possible voice show-off. Orchestration can be possibly expanded as well. There is a small story related to this very piece : many years ago (look at the composition's creation year), while I had a few months of proper conservatory classes, a friend whom I had met at the harmony class just asked me for a piece to help him practice with real music background, because, till then, he had just practiced his voice by off-hand singing with rather modest results (trying some Sinatra songs etc.). His voice was not bad, but, he did need some years of proper training. I finally handed him the text of the composition under discussion. That was at the end of the season. We never met again. I don't know what eventually happened since I then stopped conservatory lessons. I just guess the piece was not actually used : my title says it all ! Life's tricks !

Concerning Microsoft
Windows and music composition files : If you use Microsoft Windows you can
download the music composition files by just clicking right mouse button and
selecting "Save Target As ..." (Microsoft Internet Explorer). To listen to music
composition files directly, just click on the music composition file link with
the mouse (this won't work if you use programs like Donwload Accelerator Pro
etc., since these applications interfere with the system's downloading data
processes).
Concerning music
composition copyrights : It should be mentioned that you can only listen
to this piece of music "in private". This simply means that you cannot use
it in public (public execution of the music) or use its corresponding music
material without previously getting a licence from its creator. The same
principle applies for all pieces of music that we buy eg. on CDs.
