John Tzineris : Anti-Biographical Sketch

John Tzinieris was born in Serres, Greece, in 1972.

He has studied neither piano, nor violin, nor advanced theory of music, nor counterpoint, nor fugue, nor composition, nor anything relative to music.
He has attended neither composition seminars, nor conducting seminars by anyone.
He has started poisoning the rest of the world with his music since the important year 1989.
Since then, he has neither stood out in any contest, nor has he taken any suspicion of a prize by any committee.
He is giving himself music lessons nowhere and to noone.

He is mainly playing the piano, but, he is also giving time to other - classical and not - instruments.
He believes that the best theory teacher is Arnold Schoenberg ("Theory of Harmony", "Fundamentals of Musical Composition").
He has studied an adequate number of works by great composers (especially Beethoven's 9th symphony, but, also a lot of others).
He likes his own music for the next 10 minutes only - then he is not satisfied any more...
