The Poster of the Concert of George Hadjinikos and Duo Vivo in London The announcement is repeated below in simple text format : Dear friends, fellow-musicians and teachers,
After a wonderfully musical August in Horto Pelion during the 26th Summer Master Classes and Cultural Events, we'd like to inform you about our next concert in 2010.
As we had announced in our previous newsletter, from 11-14 November Prof. George Hadjinikos will be giving a Conducting Master-Class and a Chamber Music Workshop in London, under his well-known title "Essence and Origins of Musical Interpretation", in collaboration with the I MAESTRI Orchestra (for more information about participating you may contact George Hlawiczka at ghlawiczka@yahoo.co.uk).
On November 13th a concert with the chamber ensemble will take place at St. Clement's (95 Sirdar Road, W11 3EQ) performing Brahms (String Sextet, op.18) and Skalkottas (Octet & Greek Dances). The next day, November 14th, the orchestra will perform at St. John's (Smith Square, SW1P 3HA). Program includes Sir Malcolm Arnold's Concerto for piano-4 hands (piano, Duo Vivo), Saint-Saens's Cello Concerto (arranged for viola and played by Last Night of the Proms soloist Maxim Rysanov) and Bruckner's 4th Symphony. Arnold's Concerto will be conducted by Prof. Hadjinikos; Saint-Saens by George Hlawiczka; Bruckner by participants of the master-class. Attached you will find the poster.
We'd love to see those who will be in London and of course all our friends there.
Wishes for an inspiring autumn, DUO VIVO Chris Marinos & Nikos Adraskelas
