QSO is thrilled to announce the amazing Broadway performers for our 2010 Symphony Gala for you. These stars will perform Broadway hits accompanied by no other than Constantine Kitsopoulos, QSO Music Director and established Broadway conductor. Just read below to find out some of what Kerry O'Malley and Martin Sola have performed recently. In addition, New York Based jazz band Tuxedo Parc will get you moving on the dance floor throughout the evening.
Join us as we celebrate our 57th year and honor John Liu, NYC Comptroller and former QSO Board Member, at Terrace on the Park on May 8th. Cocktail reception starts at 6:30 pm, followed by dinner and dancing at 7:30 pm. It is open bar and black tie optional. There will also be a silent auction and raffle drawing during the evening.

Kerry O'Malley
Kerry O'Malley starred on Broadway in Irving Berlin's White Christmas as Betty Haynes, the role originated by Rosemary Clooney in the much-beloved film. Her other Broadway credits include the starring role of The Baker's Wife in Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Into the Woods in its 2002 revival with Vanessa Williams, Dolly Tate opposite Reba McEntire and Tom Wopat in the acclaimed revival of Annie Get Your Gun, Billy's Mum in Billy Elliot, and Brian Friel's Translations with Brian Dennehy, Rufus Sewell and Dana Delaney. She is known to television audiences for her role as Mary-Kate, sister to Jason Isaacs and Jason Clarke on Showtime's critically acclaimed drama Brotherhood. She stars opposite Renee Zellweger in the upcoming feature film Case 39.
Martin Sola
Martin Sola has performed on Broadway in Coram Boy, La Boheme, and The King and I. Earlier this year he made his debut with City Center Encores, playing the role of Hakim in Fanny. Martin has also appeared as a featured artist with the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall as part of the Bernstein Festival; and with the Atlanta Pops in a staged reading of The King and I. Other engagements include; the Queens Symphony in the world premiere of Carlos Franzetti's childrens' opera Gauchito and the Pony, Che in Evita at The Theater by the Sea in R.I., and various productions with New York City Opera.
