Donald Groves, tenor
Donald Groves earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Colorado. Mr. Groves has performed with the University of Colorado opera program, the Dona Ana Lyric Opera, and the Lyric Opera of Cleveland. Don also participated in the young artist program at Chautauqua
Opera.
Marcos Sola, baritone
Opera Magazine described Mr. Sola as "an appealing baritone as Belcore," in the Opera in the Heights production of L'Elisir d'amore. Most recently he sang The Pirate King in the Orlando Ballet's unique production of The Pirates of Penzance and Jake in Townsend Opera's production of Porgy and Bess. The Modesto Bee wrote he gave a "strong, consistent performance" as Jake. With the New York City Opera, he performed Mingo in Porgy & Bess in a "Live from Lincoln Center" broadcast: an acclaimed production that continues to enjoy repeat performances on cable television.

In the spirit of the gala theme A Night at the Opera, guests will enjoy live performances of opera favorites before dancing the night away to our featured band, Tuxedo Parc.

Meet the Opera Stars
Donata Cucinotta, soprano, possesses an array of Opera to Broadway stage experience in her young career. Over the past two seasons, she made her Opera Colorado main-stage debut performing Despina in the student performance of Cosi Fan Tutte, Berta in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, and covering the Four Heroines in Les Contes d'Hoffmann. As a member of the Opera Colorado Ensemble, she performed the roles of Masha in The Music Shop, Juliette in Romeo et Juliette and Clorinda in Cinderella. Also that season, she made her debut as Gilda in Rigoletto at Opera Fort Collins.
A former Resident Artist at Shreveport Opera, she was honored with the Audience Choice Award at the company's Singer of the Year Competition. Other honors include Metropolitan Opera National Council Regional Finalist and Encouragement Award, First Place at the NATS Eastern Regional and an invitation to sing at Weil Recital Hall as a Finalist in the New Jersey Verismo Opera Competition. She can also be heard on the Albany Records recording of The Gondoliers. Ms. Cucinotta received her M.M. from Mannes College of Music, her B.M. from Ithaca College and has also trained at the Seagle Music Colony.
