QSO's 2011 Young Soloist Competition
If you or someone you know is ready to compete for cash prizes and an opportunity to perform with the only professional orchestra in Queens, now is your chance! The application for our 2011 Young Soloist Competition is available online (due Dec. 3, 2010) and is open to student instrumentalists up to 22 years of age.
The competition finalists will compete in a recital for an audience and panel of judges on March 6, 2011 at 4 PM at the Taiwan Center in Flushing, NY. Winners will be announced live! Buy tickets
The 2011 Young Soloist Competition is sponsored in part by Astoria Federal Savings Bank, Taiwanese American Association of New York, Taiwan Center, Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College and Queens Chronicle.

Young People's Concerts
"Holidays Around the World"
Teachers have the opportunity to bring their classes to
Queens College on Dec. 2, 2010 to experience our orchestra
live and in an educational, FUN and interactive format.
Students (K-8) will learn about winter holiday music from across the globe to illustrate the varied traditions of many cultures.
