Artissimo.gr record entry date : Thu 19/08/2010

The announcement is repeated below in simple text format : Dear teachers, fellow-musicians and friends,
We would like to thank all those with whom we created a wonderful musical winter and spring in Austria, Holland, England and Greece. We have sent links from some of our performances with our previous newsletter so if anyone is interested, visit our channel on youtube.
The link underneath is from April's concert we gave in London with the I MAESTRI Orchestra performing Alfred Schnittke's Concerto for piano-4 hands & chamber orchestra: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4M8-tp54eE Special thanks to our exceptional conductor and friend Anastasios Strikos, and of course to the orchestra, which played absolutely marvellous such a complex work within a very short ammount of rehearsals, and its artistic director George Hlawiczka.
On November 14, 2010 we will collaborate with the same orchestra performing a Concerto for 2 pianos, that we will soon announce, under the direction of Prof. George Hadjinikos who will also be giving a conducting master-class during the same period with the I MAESTRI in London.
We are now getting ready for the 26th Summer Master-classes & Cultural Events organized by the Non Profit Cultural Foundation "G. Angelinis-Pia Hadjinikos" in Horto, Mount Pelion. In this year's program Prof. George Hadjinikos will be giving his well-known workshops "Essence and Origins of Musical Interpretation", which are for all instruments as well as chamber ensembles and singers, from 17-22 August. Following that Prof. Christos Kanettis will give a violin, viola and chamber music master-class from August 23rd till September 1st. Alongside with the master-classes, as every year, various cultural events will take place. For more information, please contact info@horto.net.
Thank you for your time and remember that we are always open to hear your opinions and suggestions regarding our projects and performances.
Best wishes for a wonderful summer, DUO VIVO Chris Marinos & Nikos Adraskelas
