Information Do you believe in Absolute Pitch ? You know what Absolute Pitch is, don't you ? It's the ability to understand the absolute tonal pitch of a note you are listening to without any further assistance, eg. without trying to locate the actual key of the piano that is producing the corresponding pitch you are hearing, without the use of a tuning fork etc.  Sounds easy, e ? Well, try to do it then ! The laws of probabilities say that you are not going to succeed in finding the correct pitch to tell ! Except ... except ... for the case you have been born with the Absolute Pitch capability yourself ! In this case, you will simply have a great ease at recognizing without any difficulty all those pitches at an eye-glance speed ! This fact, along with other abilities, will inevitably help you become a very good musician anyway. Most great classical composers are widely believed to have had the Perfect Pitch - this fact helped them improve their art even more and live for ever as legends of music. So, what ? You tried to find out whether you have Perfect Pitch and you just failed ? Well, don't worry, I am still living as well :-) A musician can certainly live without the ability of Perfect Pitch ...
