Experiences On the occasion of a beautiful evening in a concert house full of music taken from musical comedies, I discovered for one more time the lost magic of the simple and the light-hearted. In contrast with the grave ancient myths, tragic love stories and heroic achievements of the half-gods, the musical comedy is giving its lessons in the land of music with magnificent, easy-to-understand melodies and almost everyday, attractive stories, full of romance and humour. The music is still preserving some of the stereotypes in a degree that is not especially annoying, yet it is still flying all the time from musical spots lightsome and full of colours to transparent sentimental phrases, which will never convince us for their seriousness, arriving again at mosaics made of humour, theatrical tricks and solid musical material. The spectator cannot stay passive for long : the subjects are built in such a way, that, with a little bit more of boldness he could have been the "petit bourgeois" protagonist in a simple theatrical performance : the difficult-to-sing high notes will spoil his confidence a bit, but, nevertheless, he will not stop thinking he is exactly the same person with the one that is most matching him : moreover, the similarities will expand to all those things he is constantly daydreaming for so many years now.
