Puzzle

He he he, so, now is the time for me to give away the solution of the puzzle which I had "assigned" you on the 23th of May 2002. I shall remind you that the puzzle was the following : "Who is the one that is punishing you in the morning, he coaxes you in the noon, in the afternoon he starts paying you, and in the night he is giving you everything you need (in other words : he gives you everything!) ? ". The solution is ( ... surprise ! ... just opening slowly the folder containing the solution ... :-) ) ... Chopin ! (... uauh! ...). It's true, ladies and gentlemen ! Chopin's pianistic art is punishing you when you are young, and this is because you are listening to Chopin's music played by top-level artists and you are ... trying to imitate them, but you cannot do it because of poor level of technique and because of - excuse me for the term - immature performance capability (OK! sure, artists like Dimitris Sgouros etc. excluded). When you are near to perfect pianistic execution and your rendering power is starting to shine (that is, you are "in the noon"!), then, Chopin is "coaxing" you and is promising a wealthy artistic reward which is eventually given to you : however, not so much through the perfect technique you will have while arriving at the peak of your career. The most complete payment will come when you will have reached close to the end of your voyage, because then, you will have acquired such a high level of control over the instrument that your performance will positively flow freely and will simply be overwhelming, and Chopin's ... bust (which is lying next to the piano, on the nearest desk :-) ) will surely ... smile itself secretly, along with all those that are enjoying your astonishing performance ! (I am apparently talking about pianists that have achieved a soloist's career, is that clear ? Myself, I am still trying to learn by heart the Prelude of the 2nd English Suite of J.S. Bach :-) but, eventually, I will accomplish it!). So, that was all my small story (or, maybe, my fairy tale !? ). Did you like the solution ? (if you have read till now, of course ! :-) ). OK, I know that this was a rather eccentric approach of mine, but, remember, the point of art is to make its passive receiver (the listener) try to outdo even its creator (the composer) in approach, fantasy and even in the point. So, here is an instance of such a case ...
