Menu
The daily "menu" is consisted of : 6:15 in the morning, Chopin's Polonaise no. 3 in A major (opus 40 no. 1) (or the "Militaire") for reasons of waking up, 10:00 in the morning, Chopin's Polonaise no. 1 (opus 26 no. 1) in C sharp minor in order to "become a little fit" - for even bigger wakefulness, at 12:00 pm, Chopin's Polonaise no. 6 in A flat major (opus 53), at around 2 in the noon, we can take a bit out of a spaghetti alla Bolonaise (nothing to do with Chopin here, perhaps with Rossini a little - he, he, I am a bad guy today, I know ! :-) ), at about 4 to 5 in the afternoon, Chopin's Polonaise no. 2 in E flat minor (opus 26, no. 2) just to keep the balance, later, at 7 in the afternoon, in order to relax a bit, Chopin's Polonaise no. 4 in C minor (opus 40 no. 2), later, at 9 in the evening, the (central :-) ) Chopin's Polonaise no. 5 in F sharp minor (opus 44 - the suggestion here is a performance by D. Sgouros!!) and, eventually, at 11 in the night, not long ago before ... going to bed, Chopin's Polonaise-Fantasia no. 7 in A flat major (opus 61). ... ... ... Do tell - isn't this a lovely way to fill your entire day ? Even if ... Warsaw is long far away from here ! :-) ** ** The numbering used for Chopin's Polonaises is based on the volume "Chopin Polonaisen" by Edition Peters (catalog number 1903).
