Sunday 23 May 2004 : Editor's Birthday !

Birthdays

Today, artissimo.gr is celebrating its own editor's birthday !

How old is he ? (**)

Weeeell, subtract the number of symphonies W.A. Mozart wrote from the number of piano keys. Subtract the number of
symphonies Beethoven wrote from the previous value and then divide the found quantity by the count of parts of Schubert's
unfinished symphony. Add this to the serial number of Mahler's symphony that is called "of a Thousand" and subtract the
number of semitones in an octave (attention : do not count the same note twice!) from the previous value. Then, add the number of pieces found in Robert Schumann's "Kinderszenen" (OK, I am a good guy : there are 13 of them!) and, finally, add this to the number of instruments found in a string quartet !

That's my age ! Not hard - was it ?  :-)

** An ancient Greek saying goes : "Goods are always obtained in the hard way!"  :-)

Download and enjoy a recent composition ! Your opinion counts !
