Experiences This is about another of my favourite travelling scenes : this time the high lands were almost covered by dense enough fog : some houses and small hills could yet be seen among the milky-white giant airy pillows being formed slowly. Sometimes the fog died away and then the whole side of the mountain could be examined by a further distance : everything was mostly green in colour. The music was the famous ballade in sol minor by Johannes Brahms (**) : the beginning is powerful and touching, then music gets more and more sensitive and pathetic, as if she would like to complain about the natural beauties that cannot last for ever. Then, the end of the ballade gets strong again : the fog is slowly but constantly disappearing and life becomes normal again : it also gets so calm and predictable that sometimes is almost unbearable...
