A small dose of summer humour On the occasion of reaching the number of 800 (actual) visitors in our humble website "CLASSICAL MUSIC AND TECHNOLOGY", the website editor group (that is, John, Tzinieris, the son of my father, the son of my mother, the brother of my sister etc. - at least 5 people!) decided to organize a poll - where else ? - in the centre of Athens, on the subject of - what else ? - the present website ! So, here are the "cool" conclusions which were collected by that original poll. The question was : "What is your opinion about the website "CLASSICAL MUSIC AND TECHNOLOGY". Following are the answers and the corresponding percentages : Editor Notice : Unfortunately, due to technical reasons, the poll took place under circumstances of 47 Celsius degrees in the shade. This is partly apparent from the quality of the answers :-)  - WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT THE WEBSITE "CLASSICAL MUSIC AND TECHNOLOGY" ? -52 in 165 - percentage of 31,5% replied (while being thirsty to death) : "What is this, does it have to do with beaches and the sea ?" (... poor people ...) - 34 in 165 - percentage of 20,6% replied (most of them gourmets) : "Excellent website. I also happen to like olive oil cookery!" (those are the consequences of not wearing a hat in summer months...) - 23 in 165 - percentage of 13,9% replied (typical attitude for a man) : "Leave me alone, man, I am getting hotter and hotter!" (looking at a very certain angle of the female horizon :-) ).  - 21 in 165 - percentage of 12,7% replied (intellectuals but physically "burnt") : "Yes, I am aware of the site of Mikis Theodorakis too" (excusable people - I cannot accuse them!) - 17 in 165 - percentage of 10,3% replied (foreigners from London) : "Ne, to xero bebaia, alla den mporo na to diabaso efkola, giati, ego, oxi ellinika xerete!" (excusable people as well - British Museum director excluded :-) ) - 12 in 165 - percentage of 7,2% replied (showing an admirable mental condition) : "Yes, it is OK - I happen to drop a visit from time to time - not bad actually" ... (rational query : did they really understand the question after all :-) ) - 6 in 165 - percentage of 3,6% replied (ts, ts, ts! what a disappointment!) : "Come now! Do you know any good place for us to ... hide, now that Athens is getting empty of people ?" (after all, everything is possible in a scientific research! :-) ) I think by now you have got a good taste of how all those serious and reliable polls are performed ! |
