Experiences
Now that we are approaching Easter Day, we should have a quick glance at the most "grave" pieces of classical music that one can listen to : * W.A. Mozart - Requiem (especially some of the first parts which the composer wrote himself) * L.v. Beethoven - Symphony no. 7 - second part - Allegretto (the rest of the symphony is not at the same mood, anyway) * T. Albinioni - Adagio in sol minor (most ... light-hearted) * P.I. Tchaikovsky - Symphony no. 6 in si minor ("Pathetic") - fourth part - Finale. Adagio lamentoso (having a romantic character as well) * B. Britten - "Simple Symphony" - third part - Sentimental Saraband - Poco lento e pesante (a very-very beautiful "simple" piece ;-) ). This is a demonstrative list. If I have missed any adequate popular pieces of music, I am eager to hear from you. I should notice that we are always talking about "tonal" music.
