Important artistic debts

Today is the 25th anniversary of the death of the great Greek soprano. As I cannot consider myself as a specialist in the operatic area (well, I know everything about all the others : that's for sure ! :-) ), I will suggest you an amazing web site with a large amount of information about the famous Greek soprano, which is also especially well-made : http://www.arsakeio.gr/Webpages/Ekali/A_g/kallas1.htm (the site is in Greek : I am sorry for this! - anyway, it has been made by the "Arsakio-Tositsio" school! Just congratulations! One of the best and most tasteful I have ever seen - even if a little bit "heavy" - also prepare your audio card!). I myself will simply remain with the memory of the cadence from E flat (!!!) to A flat (of course - these notes are both above the treble clef!) from a melodrama of Bellini which I heard a little before! The mass of her voice was just impressive! The composers are OK naturally, but, sometimes, the performers are just ... (why did I think that sopranos cannot reach beyond high C ? Well, it must be the reproduction appliance which has broken :-) )
