Saturday 20 April 2002 : An Excellent Milhaud

Experiences

I recently listened (quite astonished because I thought that his "good" music was generally a bit "indigestible") to music written for two pianos by Darius Milhaud, and I was very pleased by the overall feeling : "Scaramouche", for two pianos, "Le Bal martiniquais", for two pianos as well, and "Paris", suite for four (!!!! :-) ) pianos, are especially light-hearted but also (from a certain technical-musical viewpoint) works of quality, able to help you fill with pleasure at least half an hour of your free time. I seriously suggest those works ! Perhaps they are also suitable for younger people to listen to because they are rather "light"  for their ears.

Download and enjoy a recent composition ! Your opinion counts !
