Experiences
His music is surely fantastic, but, even more, it also seems to be aware of all secrets that Mozart, Beethoven and other classical composers owned in their era ... A. Bruckner dealt mainly with symphonic production and his style is really unique and quite distinguishable. He adores the climaxes (that is to say, parts where the orchestra progressively plays louder and louder - the opposite occurs more rarely) and also the sharp and "adventurous" variations of dynamic. Moreover, he uses so matching and "forceful" timbres that are easily perceived and remembered by the actually astonished listener. The flow of music is sometimes smooth and predictable, having a gorgeous melodic line, other times, nonetheless, it traverses difficult and grand curves - a variety of "strong" accents, a lot of smart "objections" and solo instruments which are trying to show off themselves against the orchestral bursts as the dwarf is struggling against the giant. Truly impressive music !
